About Sheetal

Sheetal Raval is a pediatric physical therapist that holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University. She has practical experience in early childhood intervention and aquatic therapy. She has worked in outpatient pediatric clinics and has extensive experience in treating children with cerebral palsy, torticollis, developmental delay, hypotonia, autism, muscular dystrophy, mild traumatic brain injuries, Down’s syndrome, and extremely rare chromosomal disorders. Sheetal has a variety of experience in different models including both the intensive therapy model, providing physical therapy services for 1 hour a day, 5 times a week, for 3 weeks as well as a parent coaching model. She has experience with adaptive equipment for all settings and developmental ages. She thoroughly enjoys providing physical therapy services to the birth to five years population as this period is essential to learning cognitive, fine motor, and gross motor skills. Areas of expertise include: Developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, adaptive equipment, hypotonia, Down’s syndrome, rare genetic disorders, early childhood education, use of new technology/modalities, and developmental stages of gross motor skills.
