About Lori

Lori Porcelli is a dual-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with experience working in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, child development centers, hospitals, and clinics. She specializes in infant and pediatric feeding, early intervention, early language development, and articulation.  Lori loves working with children and their families, and has a special passion for feeding therapy. Lori enjoys tailoring each therapy session to a child’s interests and needs, and believes in providing evidence-based strategies and using a family-centered approach.  When not at work, Lori enjoys spending time with her family, going on road trips to visit friends, reading, cooking, and trying to learn to sew. 

Lori obtained her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Howard University in Washington DC. Lori is a member of ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association), DCSHA (DC Speech-Language-Hearing Association) and the DC Breastfeeding Coalition.
